Every job has its own repetitive activity which often becomes a dull and boring routine. However, if this activity happens only once a month, it is quite possible that you might forget to do it and troubles might ensue.
The consequences of an overdue invoice are definitely not pleasant, however with Superfaktura you do not have to worry about missing a recurring invoice anymore. To help you out with the recurring invoice, we have revamped the recurring invoices feature and soon enough you will be check it out yourself.
What’s the point of recurring invoices?
If you have agreed with your client upon fixed prices and billing conditions, you can create a recurring invoice by selecting Invoices > Recurring invoices. This way you will not have to worry about missing a recurring invoice. Superfaktura will automatically issue the invoice for you and can even mail or email it to the client. Furthermore, you will be always notified when the invoice is created and sent.
However, we have already given you the option to create recurring invoicesi. So what has changed?
First of all, you can easily create a recurring invoice by simply using our + “plus” or by selecting Invoices > Recurring invoices.
In the header of the page, you will see settings where you can choose all the properties of the invoice. You can select
- Recurrence – weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual
- First occurrence – date when Superfaktura should start automatically issuing the recurring invoice
- Number of occurrences – how many invoices should be issued. For example, if you have already done the first invoice manually and there should be 6 invoices sent in total, then enter only 5 occurrences. If you want the invoices to be sent for indefinite time period, simply enter “-1”. This particular invoice will be issued according to the selected pattern, until you change its settings or cancel it.
On top of that, if you have a premium subscription, you can even decide whether you want the invoice mailed or sent by email. Thus, you do not have to worry about the invoice at all anymore. Superfaktura will automatically issue and send the invoice:
- By mail upon recurrence
- By email upon recurrence
Note: If you do not have a premium subscription, Superfaktura will issue the invoice for you, however you have to send it to a client by yourself. You can do so by either email or Hybrid mail.
Once you fill out the header, you just have to fill in the invoice details. You can either enter the data manually or choose to use details from a previous invoice.
This whole process is almost identical to the one for recurring expenses. Soon enough you will be able to set up recurring payments, however currently we are still reworking this particular feature.
We hope that you will like the new way of doing recurring invoices and with any luck this change will make Superfaktura even more user friendly. But then again, it is up to you to decide whether you like this change or not. Just few more days and you can try it yourself.
